Zooming In
Living in the city is synonymous to being busy and having a hurried and harried life.
The sound of vehicles, the heat, the smog and the lack of trees around make people just accept urban living as devoid of nature’s sights and sounds OR they might crave for it’s beauty, peace and quiet.
The sky which in itself is like a canvas where wonderful colors can be seen can sometimes be dull.
Instead of seeing sunrise and sunset colors as well as cloud formations which people often times do not appreciate, we sometimes see airplanes, huge ones, flying above our heads. Not that its bad to see these, no not at all.
So I decided to try zooming in on some interesting objects that I can see around me for comparison.
An airplane flying overhead. One of the common things being noticed in the sky because of the noise it makes or the lights it flashes at night.
People rarely stop to smell the roses, so to speak. We are fortunate enough to be surrounded by trees and therefore we often hear the sounds of birds, playing happily among the branches, twittering and chirping.
it is quite difficult to take photos of birds because they do not stay in one place for long and I am just glad I was able to capture this photo (plus other bird photos) when I spent some time “bird watching” on the third floor of hubby’s family home.
Which photo do you prefer?

i also take advantage when i have my camera and i chance upon birds, bees, etc.
kaya lang full-featured p&s lang naman ang camera ko so very limited lang din ang kayang gawin. well, ang totoo, ako ang limited ang kakayahan sa pagkuha ng litrato. nyahahaha!
I love both!!! ang galing talaga ang cam mo T.Julie.
good for you, you have a greeny community. dito sa amin, mabibilang mo ang mga puno.
I like both too. I agree, we should take more time to appreciate our lovely surroundings.
Kaya naman yan Weng, we just need to use the different features na wala din naman akong tiyagang basahin
I also use a P&S. Cant afford a dslr yet.
Thanks, Feng. That photo with the bird is in my in-laws place.
We also have trees where we are staying but I have been thinking what to do about these trees for years. The roofs leak because of the leaves and the fence on the side of the property is leaning already
Yes, Rachel and take photos too.
Speaking of which, I am not positive about my lost photos during the WordCamp
Its that SD card, it failed me for the second time. I have very important photos re the WordPress upcoming changes.
