Those who have been participating in the Weekly Questions are women. So I decided to post a question that will have them answer if they can do man jobs.
Man jobs are those that require individuals, be they women or men, to do man jobs, as professionals or as odd jobs or as emergency jobs.
So the Weekly Question will attempt to answer :
What man jobs can you do?
My answer:
My father used to work in a US Naval facility and he can do a lot of man jobs, be these major or minor repairs around the house. He is adept with the terms used in doing man jobs like circuit breaker, ampere, linear motion, ground wire, circular saw and other terms. He also has a variety of drills, saws, hammers, wrenches, screwdrivers and other tools needed to get the job done.
As for me, sadly I was not able to learn a thing or two from him. Sure, I can be handy with a hammer and manage not to hit my hand. I can also be good with screwdrivers and might even be able to replace locks and deadbolts. I think I can even change the light bulb. Those would be the extent of my man job work description.
I definitely can’t paint walls or fences because paint smell make me sick.
One thing I know though, I know how to give instructions on what I want done 😀
Being able to do man jobs is not a bad thing. In fact it is a good thing because one can even save when repairs are done. If these jobs need major repairs, of course it is best to call in the professionals.
What about you? What man jobs can you do?
