The year my parents divorced in November and I was feeling sorry for myself.
My Grandmother had me baking cookies for the retirement home, delivering food to the poor neighbors–but always running away so they wouldn’t know who gave the gift.

She told me that Christmas isn’t always happy but it at least one person cares and wants to make your Christmas Happy, it sure does help.
