Women’s Health

Women are prone to health issues as they grow older. Well, men do too, as they grow older.

There are different health conditions that may affect women as they age, menopause and hot flashes for one, vaginal dryness, memory gap, urinary tract infection, depression, migraine, osteo-arthritis and a list of conditions we don’t want to hear happen to us.

This is probably the reason why we have resolved to be healthier and more fit as we celebrate each new year.

With a long list of women’s health concerns, what is it that you dread to hear the doctor say to you?

My answer:

I dread to hear the word cancer.

Yes, I know that this does not choose whoever it wants to “attack”. For me, this does not just make the one inflicted with suffer alone but the whole famly suffers too and I do not want my family to go through that.

I also dread the big C. It’s a terrible disease that can bring both physical and emotional pain.

    Ciao Teacher Julie!

I hope your family is okey now. Did that has something to do with the cold weather our country is having lately? Our place is reaching single digit temp(°C), just like here. Point is, Cordilleras don’t have proper heating system.

Anyways, I did two of your WQ today.

“An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure”, as the saying goes. So far, my doctors have never said the big C yet. It is imperative that we do our regular medical visit. I try to keep a healthy life style, but sometimes I just can’t stay away from food.
