Ash Wednesday Introspection

On Wednesday, February 25, 2009, the Roman Catholic Church community will be celebrating its Ash Wednesday.

For those who were baptized in this faith, whether they are devout Catholics or not, some look forward to this day not just to have ashes on their foreheads but as a starting point in the celebration of Lent, which is the commemoration of the passion and death of Jesus Christ.

The Weekly Question will focus on this church celebration:

Ash Wednesday means repentance but I will not ask you to list down the things that you feel you have to ask forgiveness for.

If you were asked to recall the things that you do, what were the things that you think should be improved and worked on for you to be a better person?

My answer:

I have so many things that I want to change in myself and to do all these things would probably confuse me 😀

Anyway, I hope to be able to do better at time management. Not that I am bad at this, in fact my schedule is just fine, I just need to stick to it 😀

One more thing, I know I need to put a rein on some of the things that I do which I am not proud of.

Self-discipline, that is one of the key ingredients in achieving our goals. I believe, no matter how much and how often we pray but if we do not deliver, we won’t be able to achieve our goals.
