Summer Fun
These are what my posts are all about these past few days. And why not, everyone is complaining about the heat and humidity because summer has started already and our very brief honeymoon with the cool weather (like this) was yes, very brief and sorely missed.
It may be that the summer heat is being felt in this part of the world, still, summer comes upon us year after year no matter where we are.
So the Weekly Question asks you about summer vacation:
What are fun summer activities you do with your family?
My answer:
A big part of the summer is spent by the children vacationing in my parents home in the province so we don’t really spend a lot of time together.
When we do spend time together, we usually just stay in the house to avoid being exposed to the sun’s heat. Then during Sundays, we hear mass late in the afternoon when the sun is starting to set, just like we have been doing for the past Sundays.
We do have the occasional swimming events, plus the younger children get to bath outside, in a mini-pool where they can spend time to chill out.
They do not really have summer fun activities, I just plan some fun activities for them.
For food, we have plenty of fluids so I prepare lots of juices for them to drink. Ice cream is of course a welcome treat as well as the occasional halo-halo 
Since mangoes and melons are in season, I see to it that we have a lot of supply at home.

Hehehe kami din Miss J… Swimming and swimming and swimming…. hehehe occasional out of town trips with my aunt and her family lang sa amin…hehehe
