Reckless
Reckless.
That is what I can describe a big number of motorcycle drivers here in the country.
I have written entries about it here and here but I don’t get tired of saying these things that I have observed time and again, day after day:
- these motorcycle drivers weave in and out of street lanes
- they do not wear the proper protective gears like armor jacket, knee and shin protectors, back (and kidney) protectors and sturdy helmets
- yes, they have helmets but they wear it on their arms/elbows, duh?
- they have two or three passengers with them and that includes children
These protective gears are VERY expensive, I agree, but what could be more expensive than that but lives on the line?
I can not imagine what it would cost if others are hurt due to this reckless behavior. Worst would be lives lost. Even if these drivers have someone like an Oakland motorcycle accident lawyer to stand by his side, being extra careful and protected is better than being reckless. Much, much better.

i know what you mean. i’ve also done a post on this (Para sa mga motorcycle dudes). it’s not really the motorcycles per se, but the riders. konting disiplina lang kasi.
T Juls, drivers like that does not want to live anymore so never mind them. Am sure they are not stupid to be able to understand warning signage or media reminders yet they do that…What should be done is for the public to walk and drive carefully in busy streets and avoid drivers like them.
