Grassy Front Yard

Waiting for the hubby to come out of the house, I was looking at the empty patches of the grassy soil in the front yard. I am thinking that now is a good time to plant some baby plants or maybe even seedlings with the warm daytime and cool night time.

I am also thinking of putting some outdoor decoration like a bird feeder or a small trellis for vegetable vines. Some sort of fences as protection for the plants are also necessary because our dog loves to disturb their peace. True that.

For now, I should ask Manang to trim the grass before it grow any more than it is now.

School Supplies Box

We have a school supplies box at home. This does not 100% guarantee we don’t have to run to the nearest bookstore for an emergency need but it pretty much covers what the children need to bring to school on a short notice:

  • 1/8 and 1/4 illustration board
  • pencils
  • erasers
  • pens of varying colors
  • bond papers of varying sizes
  • colored papers, craft papers, art papers
  • crayons
  • markers of different colors
  • tapes like masking tape, clear tape, packaging tape and Mat tape.
  • scissors, cutters
  • glue
  • folder and brown envelopes of different sizes

The kids have their own supplies that they bring to school too. I know this is kinda expensive but it is more expensive to go to a school supplies store than just to look if we have what they need in that box.

Snickers Just Got Smaller

I feel shortchanged with this Snickers bar. Though someone pointed out that there is a Snickers with a size between the regular one and the bite size, I don’t think this is it because I paid a price equivalent to the regularly sized one.

Snickers, what happened?

Photo first posted here.

Besides, if I wanted a smaller one, I would have gotten a bag but this didn’t come from a bag but from a box with similarly sized wrapper.

Disappointed because there should have been an extra bite somewhere there 😉

To Go or Not To Go?

So, there’s this talk among friends regarding a concert happening next month. I am torn  if I want to watch or not.

These are guys I grew up listening to. They may be a bit older now and the singing may sound a bit different. Who knows, they would probably need roc n soc seats (lol!) because their energy is not as par as before, but I guess I may never know if I don’t go watch.

I still listen to New Wave songs and in fact I have several in my playlist. I hope I won’t missed out on a lot if I don’t go watch. But I do want to.

Different

If women love to go (window) shopping for clothes and shoes, I’d pretty much be content and “lost” in a hardware store. No kidding.

I am no interior decorator than I am an architect but there is something I particularly like about being in a hardware store, never mind if I only have to get a pot or a nonsoil for my very few garden plants.

I’d gladly look at aisles where shower heads, motors, blinds, tables, plant pots, and light fixtures are displayed. Am I weird?
