Bulaklak

White Sand Beaches

I miss going to the beach.

Panglao, Bohol

Sure, it is icky sticky and hot out there but at least, it is a natural body of water and does not need any chemicals nor spa filters to make the water clean.

Sunset views are a sight to behold too as soft winds blow to cool the remnants of heat from the sun.

This photo was taken at Panglao, Bohol by my then 13yo daughter while they spent summer vacation in Bohol.

Sunday Nature Trip

early-morning-sky.jpg

I was a bit frustrated for I wanted to see the sun rise over the mountains. But we had a slow start so the sun was already rising when we were still in the house.

We traveled anyway and seemed to waste gas along the way.

As we did so, we saw lush green mountains, which were a part of the Sierra Madre Mountain Range, said to be the longest mountain range in the country.

The roads started to twist and turn as we burned fuel. I don’t really mind, we were enjoying the scenery.

Oh no! It is starting to rain. How will I take photos? How will we have our outdoor breakfast?

We didn’t get our outdoor picnic breakfast. I wasn’t able to take the photos I wanted but we got this:

Nature really is full of surprises 🙂

We also went to another wonderful place not frequented by people but that would be for another post.

(There was a nasty accident involving a motorcycle rider before or after that turn in the second photo. The ride was really in bad shape and the rider was lying along the road with his fellow riders. I hope he is ok. There have been a lot of motorcycle-related accidents in this area I am wondering they weren’t banned from going this way. They could get  really fast on these twisties and tend to overdrive and have accidents. I shudder thinking about this when my husband rides with his buddies to this place.)

Dalampasigan

litratongpinoy5.gif

The theme for this week’s Litratong Pinoy is seashore. We all know that the Philippines is surrounded by water. We also know that this is the primary selling point of the tourism industry in luring tourists to visit the country. How do we take care of our seas and seashore?

Do we have to have legislation just to guide us how to take care of our seas? Or do we voluntarily do these taking care ourselves.

Machineries that pollute the waters. Mga makinang nagdudulot ng pulosyon sa tubig.

My only wish is to see clear, clean blue waters which can give us joy as well as nourishment.
