I Need to Hydrate

The heat is oppressive and is making the skin so dry. It’s like everywhere you are being baked alive.

I had to change my facial care and look for oil free lotion hydrating treatment. I am looking for something like this below:

hydrating treatment

Now, my feet need a lot of hydrating too especially since I walk barefoot at home. My aunt said that I need to lather on lots and lots of lotion while I am watching TV or before I go to bed. Well, I used to do that but I don’t watch TV these days and I sleep as soon as my head hits the pillow because I felt faint the whole day from the heat.

Eye Photo

I love taking eye photos. Yep, up close, kinda difficult to do of course. That the eye is a fascinating subject, there is no doubt about it.

Permit me to show another eye photo:

Skin Care and TV Ads

There is this television commercial (tvc) of three popular TV personalities who used to be together in a now-defunct show about fashion, lifestyle and almost everything that screams “buy me!”

This tvc was about looking the same or maybe even younger than they were six years ago. If I were different, maybe I would believe these ladies but knowing how much photoshop can be done to make things look better different, I may not be one of those who bought that product which I guess based its presentation on hydrolyze reviews.

Either the product really works or I am just a skeptic, I wouldn’t know unless I try it myself. Which I would probably not because I would rather do this.

Be Positive

Writing about wishes puts a sweet smile on my face for I know despite the negative things happening in this country, not everything is lost.

Sure, I worry and why not? I have children whose future I have to think about. I know worrying would not just make me feel and look dour. I know worrying would make my hairs sprout unsightly white strands. I know worrying will make me have more lines and my face. (Yes, I even worry how I will make myself get the best anti-wrinkle cream without a flinch)

But I know all these worrying would not make a positive person and I know I should focus on doing thing that are positive and uplifting especially during trying times.

“Worry is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do but it doesn’t get you anywhere.”

Allergy Season

It is allergy season where we are. During this time of the year when the winds are colder and the temperature dips  a bit, I expect several changes to happen to me: dry and chapped lips, sniffles and runny nose, sneezing fits and headache.

If I am lucky, I don’t get sick with body aches and pains. With my second child, I spent the first two months of my pregnancy with him sick with allergies. He is the only one with asthma among my children.

This allergy season is different since I never expected my eyes to be affected but this time, it did: I got itchy and irritated red eyes that will be puffy from the huge amount of rubbing that I do.

I know, I know, I am NOT supposed to rub my eyes but I can’t help it. My.eyes.are.so.itchy!

I don’t want to take in any allergy medication. If only I can use the best eye cream available which will not only get rid of the itchiness but will also help remove wrinkles I will surely give it a go.

For now, I rest my eyes.

Really hope it helps reduce the itchiness. Argh!
