One of the “dreams” of new college graduates would be to work in the corporate world.
Hobnobbing with executives, being surrounded by steel buildings, wearing business suits and being tech-savvy are some factors that makes the corporate world a tempting place to be involved in.
But the reality of being a corporate slave is at times daunting.
Traffic. Stress. Expenses on things that will complete the “corporate look” does not come cheap, unless of course these people are willing to brave sale events for some discount on clothes and shoes. Competition at work.
Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against corporate work. I know the financial rewards are high and the accomplishments are great.
In fact, I know I would choose this field too have I not chosen to do arts and crafts and story-telling sessions with children 🙂
