New! Withdraw Your Funds to Your Philippine Bank Account

Now you can add your Philippine bank account to your PayPal account, so you can withdraw your money directly to your bank. It saves you time and gives you faster access to your PayPal funds!

Plus, there is no charge to withdrawal amounts over PHP 7000*. So go ahead and add your bank account today!

That is the message I got from PayPal yesterday though I have read this in my PayPal account last Sunday. I am sure everybody from the Philippines got this message too. Hooray!

There is this teeny tiny bit of information one needs to know: there is PhP250.00 return charge if incorrect information is given. Still, this is good news. So call you local banks now and get it’s code and make that transfer from your PayPal account directly to your local bank. It is VERY important to get the codes right. Most Philippine banks, or at least those who will answer your queries will give you blank answers because they have no idea about what PayPal is or the PayPal Philippines Bank Codes are. There is a list of bank codes from the major banks in the Philippines from ebay.ph. If in doubt, call your local bank and ask them to be sure.

    Thanks ebay.ph!

P.S. I’m sticking with my EON though so that I can control how I spend or NOT spend my moolah.

thanks for making sure that I read your post on Pay Pal. I was able to post my bank account already when they gave the link at their site. I don’t know about EON though I often come across it. Now that you mentioned you’re sticking to coz of more control, I’ll browse on it.

    Thanks ha. :)
No problem, Lynn. Did you register a credit card? With EON, there is a $5 fee per transaction which is still some amount, which can be put to other use aside from a transaction fee. The risk of having to put my local bank account registered is that i can probably use the money since I use this account for paying bills. I don’t think I still need to get another bank account just for that since I already have an EON. This development has caused quite a stir in the Philippine blogosphere, especially to those earn from paid posts, including our other blog. Thanks, Lynn :)

this is both good and bad news for me. good because of its convenience, and bad because I had just opened an Eon Cyberaccount at Union bank (which hasn’t been activated after three weeks!) for paypal purposes. hmmp, wrong timing again.

I am keeping my EON, who knows I might be able to use it to pay for online purchases. It also is a good rein on expenses and for emergency purposes.

I don’t get it. What does it mean to Withdraw Your Funds to Your Philippine Bank Account? Does it mean na ung existing funds mo sa paypal, malilipat sa like for example ang old school debit account mo sa BPI? So sa simula pa lang dapat may visa debit or credit ka na na nakaregister sa paypal. What if pag wala pa? Or is it the other way around? I can put funds sa paypal ko from my BPI account, then I can purchase stuff online thru paypal na without registering any visa debit or credit card? Well I guess di siya applicable sakin kasi never ko pa talaga nalalagyan ng funds ang paypal ko and I don’t intend to use it for purchasing stuff online, just selling stuff hehe. With Eon Card, malamang we won’t need this new feature ng paypal right? Kasi unionbank is already a local bank at derecho na lahat dun. Tama ba? Hehe, mejo nacoconfuse lang ako. =)

ahh so parang i get to access my paypal na if i have an eon card or any visa/mm card, but instead of transferring the funds sa eon/visa/mm, i transfer it to the my other registered bank account without any charges. i think i do have to actually use my paypal muna to really get it. what i truly get and know now from exploring paypal’s interface is, hindi automatic natatransfer yung funds na pumapasok sa paypal kaya sorta daya siya sa mga transfer fees nga kasi we can opt to transfer it dun sa bank account na local without fees and not sa registered card which has fees. korek? thanks! im sooo excited!
