What a Day!

Today is like a roller coaster ride day.

Heavy rains. Rains stop. And the cycle goes on and on. This started yesterday. Or was it on Wednesday? Or Tuesday?

Dam levels are having spillover. Yeah, and La Mesa’s spillover goes directly to Tullahan River.  A block away from where I sit typing this.

Can’t sleep again.

Burning government office where mint is made.

Burning homes.

Twisters.

Flooding. Extreme flooding.

Evacuation, forced and otherwise.

My parents renting an apartment because our roof has given in and “no can do” with minor repairs. This needs a major repair of which we don’t have any budget to speak of.

Hubby went out for a while to check on that river. He wanted to bring the kids to MIL’s home where they can be safe and sound. They’re asleep so he can’t do that right now.

UPDATE 1

He’s back. I asked if there were barangay people manning the area of the river. he said he only saw tambays. Argh!

I wonder when all these will end.

I know I should have included the leaking ceilings/roof in the living room but considering what is happening to others, these are minor inconveniences.

I’m blabbering.

I should get some sleep.

UPDATE 2:

Wait, I just read this in Twitter:

“dost_pagasa PAGASA-DOST There is a rainfall break right now.In 30-45 minutes a rainband containing 15-30 mm amount of rain will reach the vicinity of Quezon City.”
OMG.
