Milk Scare

We have all been scared with the controversy about milk products and milk from China. Somehow we, especially the mothers, were affected that this has changed the way we lived for some time. Or maybe we still harbor those fears in our hearts.

The government does its work in investigating the problems but it is still up to us to do what we think is best.

So now that the news reports have released the partial list of milk and milk products that can be safely consumed, I ask you this question:

Do you think NOW is really the time to patronize our locally made milk and milk products or would you still trust products manufactured in other countries?

My answer:

How to Advertise Your Business

One of the most important things for a business to take off is to be able to market and advertise well.

There are many ways to do this.

One is to create a media presentation like a television and/or radio commercial to be able to reach out to a lot of people instantaneously.

Another way to advertise one’s business is to join trade and fair shows. Of course this will mean extra expenses especially for the company that is just starting but when customers and inquiries start coming in, all the efforts are not wasted.

How should one setup a booth in trade and fair exhibits?

Corporate Management

People as individuals or even belonging to certain affiliations through common interests and goals, always try to give their best in whatever endeavors they have set their minds to do.

As modern technology has changed how things are being managed on a day-to-day basis, people also changed how they perform in the workplace.

These changes have also altered the way management style has devised ways to measure the performance of individuals or a collective performance of an organization.

One of those being used to measure the business performance of an organization is called corporate performance management. Corporate performance management understands and influences the performance through processes and measures using metrics and key performance indicators to measure the success of the business.

How does this influence performance? It allows a systematic approach in an integrated way which includes things like planning, analysis and budgeting to help the organization and management come up with better strategies to enhance success in the workplace.

SCTEx

What is SCTEx?

SCTEx is this: Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway which runs from Tarlac up to Subic or SBMA and back of course.

Well paved roads. Lush green country side. Peaceful ride. Almost isolated expressway (for now I guess) where thinking about having an engine trouble is not an option. Sure, one needs to pay extra (we paid Php112.00) and travel extra kilometers from the usual route but that would not matter because travel is really pleasant.

No need to navigate through road with vehicular and foot traffic. I shudder to think about the trees and the mountains that they have to cut in half just to make this happen.

Traveling at night it was a different story. We traveled through a heavy downpour. Zero visibility. Fog was thick. It was eerie but it was still fun. The photo above was taken as we were approaching Clark, hence lights on the road.
