Watching Videos
I need to buy HDMI cables because our DVD player is up to no good. The kids want to watch their favorite videos and not use the laptop for it because they want to watch while relaxing on the bed 😀
Kids these days, they are able to watch movies easily. Back in the day, we’d rent out these big tapes like Betamax and VHS because these are very expensive. Â Sometimes I tend to analyze if what we went through was better because we weren’t able to just watch as long as we want to or the young has it better because everything can be had at just the click or a tap of a button.
I like it better back in the day.

Hand-Painted Shirts
Speaking of small businesses, cheap custom t-shirts, especially personalized ones (ok, that would not be not-so-cheap) that feature your stand on issues or maybe, yes, that politician’s face on it. <- I probably wouldn’t touch that with a ten feet pole, I tell ya.
Anyway…
The shirt business is not something new but you have to be creative enough to think out of the box ideas and concepts that will make people come to you to buy your shirts.
I used to be friends with brothers (they have since gone overseas so we lost touch) who make custom design hand-painted shirts. Their shirts are mostly black. They further moved on to painting bags and lounge seats made of canvass. Back-breaking and time-consuming tasks but they have loads of orders. Yes, the shirts are expensive but definitely worth every bucks.
I should rummage my closets to see if I still have the one they gave me.

Small Business
I have heard this a lot of times from different people and yes, in fact, I have even heard myself tell me that : “When I have enough capital, I will put up a small business.”
Small business can mean being on the lookout for hot dog cart for sale or the recent trend, dimsum cart for a cafeteria concessionaire, maybe home-based business that involves cooking and baking. The list is long, depending on one’s capacity to produce products and give services that others may need to avail of.
Having your own small business is no easy feat, especially if you are not patient to reap the rewards and establish being the go-to for the specialization being offered. But you won’t know if you won’t try, right?
