Simple Pleasures
Let’s say we forget every stress, in whatever form and shape that comes our way and indulge in SIMPLE PLEASURES that we can enjoy alone. This is much like what we want to do during that Extra Hour where we spend “me” time.
The Weekly Question #9:
What are the 5 simple pleasures that will give you, well, simple pleasures?
My answers:

Enjoy some candies all by myself (almost possible).

Have time enough to watch the sky change colors during sunset (possible).

Have time (and energy) for a leisurely morning walk. Once a week would do

Have time enough to finish a book without forgetting the plot or the page. (almost impossible)

Walking barefoot on the sand. This can evolve to a HHWW (with swaying arms) with hubby. Now this is probably a long shot but still, a simple pleasure.
Ahhh, I am thinking about these simple pleasures right now but these would have to wait for I have to indulge one simple pleasure I have forgotten to add, go to sleep.
Now, if only I can ask the hubby to tell the two younger kids watching a Formula One video with him to go sleep too, I would be happy indeed.

Hello, Miss Julie. Running late here, sorry. This week has been crazy, but your weekly question is so good at timing that helped relieved some of my stress away just by thinking about my simple pleasures in life. Posted them here: http://faerydancing.blogspot.com/2008/07/weekly-question-9.html
Have a happy week!

My simple pleasures are up, Julie.
I also like the unhurried morning walk by the way.
Hello, Miss Julie. Remember our email conversation about a small badge for Weekly Questions. I thought I’d tell you I created one. I actually just took screenshots of your site logo and the Weekly Questions tab. Nothing fancy. I just had to have something on my site to remind me. Hehehe! You can use it if you like. If not, it’s okay. =)
Sorry for the double posting…but the small badge did not appear in the previous post. Here’s the url: http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c202/louriepeck/weeklyquestions.jpg
Cookie, I just thought about the Eating Club re suggestion that its easier to go there na
Thanks for playing again, Sasha
Zriz, thanks for playing. Yes, reading is definitely a simple pleasure. I get my books from bargain bookstores so that it will still remain as a simple pleasure (kuripot kaya, hehehe)
OKlang yun, Feng. Puwede mo nga isama yan sa pu2b mo eh
Lourie, thanks for playing again and my apologies for the late visit.
I am so grateful for taking the time to make a badge for this meme. Thanks so much
Lynn, walking is possible but sometimes we just want to sleep in. In my case, we still have to travel a bit to be able to do this. I see some walking where we live but I do not feel safe doing that.
(Maybe I will try and just bring the dog with me but he is quite heavy to pull when he doesn’t like to walk. O kaya, he might pull me because he is very very strong, hehehe)
Thanks for playing again
i’m currently sticking to ebooks muna…yung free! hahahaha
and i am also a library card holder so…free books! hahahaha
sayang walang ganito sa Pilipinas…
Hi, Miss Julie. No problem. I posted it rather late in the week, anyway. As for the badge, it’s rather so-so in terms of quality. Hehe! I didn’t expect you’d use it officially. I can make a much better one if you like. =)
Ciao Julie,
Boun giorno!
