In Your Dreams Blue Heron #4 by Kristan Higgins

Book #4 of the Blue Heron series. I’ve read the first three so I should read this one too, right?

In Your Dreams Blue Heron 4 by Kristan Higgins

Here is my GoodReads review:

I laughed as well as cried but there was something I didn’t get. Maybe I was expecting Jack to be “more” and am a bit disappointed with him.

His character lacked those moments when he realizes why he can’t live without Em, Maybe that’s the one.

Also the other pairs I loved in the earlier books were a bit too “comical” in this particular book.

Dangerous Girls by Abigail Haas

I started this book but it was weird that I needed to take a break and in between I was able to read two (or possibly three) books in between. Yeah talk about weird.

Here is my GoodReads review:

Finally finished the book.

This was one book I was so eager to read but in between chapters I had to take breaks and I’ve read three other books before I read till the end.

It has a unique writing style that is not chronologically possible but as one reads the events, one can weave the plot as these events unfold.

I enjoyed the book and at the same time I didn’t enjoy it because there was a certain feeling that something is going to happen contrary to what I think should happen. It did and that was totally unexpected and it gave me the creeps.

Would I recommend the book? I would.

What’s more weird is that I’ve started the Dangerous Boys book but am taking a break right now.

Sweet Temptation by Lucy Diamond

In relation to Roche’s reading challenge, here is a book I have read from an author that I’m reading for the first time.

Sweet Temptation by Lucy Dianond

Lucy Diamond’s Sweet Temptation.

Here is my GoodReads short review:

At first I thought this book was not something I would read but because the plot was easy to read, the characters (tho I at times had to think who Lauren and Jess were) were likable and I’d be honest, I wanted to see if they were able to do something about their weight.

All in all, this is a fun read.

New Year’s Resolution : Healthier You

Don’t we all tell ourselves that “This is the year that I will focus more on getting healthy!”

You buy new gear like shoes and sports clothes as well as a magnetic sports bracelet to complete the sporty look.

MAGNETIC SPORTS BRACELET

Some take up formal lessons, even getting a personal trainer to help them along the way.

The question is, would they be able to sustain the interest all the way through the end of the year and even beyond? I hope so.

I hope I do.

How to Eat at a Buffet

Buffet? Where?

Have you been to a buffet and ate till you can’t breathe nor stand up?

I bet you did.

2014.September.Lenovo

There are however ways on how to eat smartly at a buffet:

  • Sit as far away from the food as possible
  • Position yourself that you are not in direct eye contact with the delectable food offerings
  • Look at the options and see which you think you have not eaten enough of and get these for your consumption.
  • Avoid fattening foods
  • Avoid the raw food especially if you do not have the  stomach for these
  • Lunch time is the best time to go because you still have time to burn the food you ate
  • Choose the food that are more expensive than you can normally afford.  Of course it doesn’t mean these are more delicious but since these may be above your price range, you now have a chance to “feast” on these
  • Slow and Steady will make you be able to have more
  • Be well hydrated.Take small sips of the drinks you have
  • Get food in small portions to avoid feeling full and regretting not being able to eat some food on the buffet table

This article does not tell you to eat less at a buffet, it merely tells you how you can make the most of your buffet experience.
