We drive a Toyota sedan. The children call it “Black Car”. It is an old car but still running smoothly.
It has taken us to a lot of places and brought a lot of fun for everyone.
As far as relationships go, this car and its driver (the man of the house) do not have a smooth as silk and perfectly harmonious relationship so the need to get parts for Toyota comes up once in a blue moon.
The car will probably stay with us for a long time.
Photos published here are from my other blogs TeacherJulie and Photo Stories.
I love using inner ear earphones.
In fact, my youngest daughter, when she used earbuds, she never wanted to use the “conventional” earphones again. My current earbuds is a pair of Audio-Technica ATH-CKF300.
This pair (from my photo blog, Photo Stories) used to be my earbuds.
Having earbuds though doesn’t stop me from looking at earbuds at Guitar Center for new earbuds to buy. Just in case.
I like to have a pair that is water proof though for outdoor use.
One of the churches the hubby and I went to for our 2013 Visita Iglesia travel was San Pedro de Alcantara Church in Pakil, Laguna. This I must say, is hands down, one of my favorite churches. We went here a few years ago but not for Visita Iglesia.
Here is a photo I took and edited in Instagram:
It is kinda different though that the altar’s patron saints are covered because it was Good Friday when we went here.
For reflection about Lent, it would have been better if there was appropriate serene atmosphere inside but people (like me!) are on the move with a lot taking photos, not so subtle talking inside the church and children playing with their tablets and their gadgets and permitted to walk to and fro.
I did not expect music that will stir the soul kind of thing (but the idea is a nice one, especially for reflecting on why we do what we do during these trips which in turn will take our minds off some of the things we left behind like the loads of laundry or perhaps the need to buy bach mouthpieces at wwbw or even where to eat after the trip) because there is always a crowd where out of towners like us drive in droves for a chance to see these beautiful and historical churches.
People should put more respect not just to these church structures but to the faith that the congregation believe in.

I’ve written about this a few times but it is no secret that I enjoy going to hardware stores. Not that I always need things to buy but whenever I have a chance (like when the hubby has to get some dog food) I go in and take a look at the wonderful things being sold there. I like spending time looking at color swatches, those things like the tools and handles that I always see at http://www.reidsupply.com plus the gardening essentials.
There is this one hardware store though that I particularly like because at the back part, I can get really inexpensive Japanese products that I use for the lunchboxes of the children 🙂
