October Was When I Officially Started My Blog

Yes, it was one cool October day when I officially started my special education blog, Teacher Julie. I was blogging then, using free blogging platform and I was maintaining three. Hah, quite toxic for me since the contents were just the same. Never would I thought that putting contents in three blogs would just prep my blogging behavior now that I am maintaining three four active personal blogs. That excludes my blog for my homeschooling children and the group blog about parenting.

Starting a blog then was something alien to me because being used to free blogging platforms, I did not particularly know how to start from scratch. The terms CMS, web hosting, and some technical terms were baffling. Truth is, up to now I really have no idea how to propagate a blog because it is THE hubby who does that for me.

First I had to have some web hosting tutorials which I got from my husband who patiently taught me how to go through the WordPress buttons. He didn’t know a thing about blogging then too, even if he is in Information Technology so he had to read a lot of web hosting articles.

My Computer Nga Ba?

Several weeks ago, I wrote a post about the laptop that blogging bought.

Yes, even if there is a home pc, I got myself a laptop which  I can bring with me when I have to go to work. But at home, that laptop is not mine, the children takes possession which is fine with me since I am more comfortable using the home pc.

This is our youngest child, playing with a game.

Si bunso naglalaro. Oist, gabi na, matulog na…

Ok then there are times when they just have to rest their case somewhere else and give that thing to me like when hubby and I attended the WordCamp Philippines.

Man Jobs, You Say?

Those who have been participating in the Weekly Questions are women. So I decided to post a question that will have them answer if they can do man jobs.

Man jobs are those that require individuals, be they women or men, to do man jobs, as professionals or as odd jobs or as emergency jobs.

So the Weekly Question will attempt to answer :

What man jobs can you do?

My answer:

Bilog na Naman ang Buwan

Who remembers the song of Tropical Depression “Bilog na Naman ang Buwan? You know, that reggae band who can make you sing and dance alongside their upbeat songs?

Why did I ask If you know this song? Its because of my entry, the photo of the moon, a nice black and white combination. I love looking at the moon though if I do that for a long time, I might end up either with a stiff neck or end up looking like I’m nuts. This is one of my family’s favorite thing to look at the sky, the full moon. The photo below is not of good quality since I didn’t use a tripod.

Happy Thursday everyone! 🙂
