Sleepy in the Morning

I woke up early to wake up the hubby for his super early meeting. What I meant was, I am sleepy and it’s not even 10am yet.

If only they just have video conferencing services, there would have been no need to travel to the other side of the metro for that. I think the hubby needs to present some documents so he really has to be there. On the other hand, this is entirely impossible because our net connection is crawling…like a snail…

Oh well, maybe it’s time to do some cleaning up since I can’t do more work online.

Ciao.

Horses

We love hiking. If there’s a good walking/hiking trail at home, we’d be going there on a regular basis. Alas, where we live, everything is paved and we have to drive several minutes half an hour or so to where the trees are. When opportunities to hike present itself, we hike.

We tend to enjoy the scenery, breathe the fresh air and take in as much as we can visually. We take photos of course, and as the saying goes, we only take photos, leave behind our footprints and bring home memories.

During last weekend’s hiking, we saw these horses relaxing under the shade of the trees. My daughter remarked that if only we have equestrian apparel, she’d love to ride on those horses.

horses

Knowing she loves riding, that was not a surprise. She used to ride horses at the nearby park when she was younger. The park is now more “modernized” with rides and so the horses had to go. Sad.

Smoke on the Water

When I hear the young kids in the family talk about guitars, I sometimes do not understand what it is they are talking about, lol.

My youngest daughter is the one interested in taking up guitar lessons but she is vacationing elsewhere and her guitar is at home. She could take lessons where she is now but she only brought the stuffed bear in the link’s photo and not the guitar.

This is the daughter’s favorite song Smoke on the Water that she tries to play on the guitar.

Wanted: Bookbag or More Bookshelves

To say I need just one Jansport Bookbag is an understatement. I need several. Plus other big storage for my bookssss.

My eldest daughter definitely needs a new school bag this school year and yes, I know she wants a Jansport bag. I was supposed to get her one from one of those online discount sites but she didn’t like the colors of the bags featured.

Yoyo Time

We are impressed with people who know how to the play yoyo.

The kids were asking me to get them a “decent” yoyo because the ones they have don’t go up and down properly. Of course, I have to explain to them that they need a lot of practice to be able to do yoyo tricks like the one in the video below:

Maybe I need to play the yoyo too because I am not good with this 🙂 That would be a fun thing to learn during the summer vacation. I am sure those who would want to learn how to play the yoyo will also learn how to be patient and how to persevere.
