Zumba Classes

Finalleh, I’m enrolled in Zumba classes! Woot!

I attended my first ever Zumba classes today. I missed the first session last week because my mommy bloggers friends and I had a day out (or a day-off?).

Verdict: fun, fun, fun. More fun to do it with others than do it at home when I can just sit if I feel tired. Yes, I was able to survive an hour of dancing. I was careful not to drink a lot though since I know I feel a bit pain on the right side of my torso if I drink more than I should.

I feel a bit of pain on the legs, not as painful though when I run.

Can’t wait to go back there on Thursday, woot!

 

Low Progesterone Symptoms

I chanced upon these symptoms regarding low progesterone symptoms just a while ago: insomnia, dizziness, irritability, extreme changes in mood, bloating, weight gain, joint pain, muscle pain, and depression.

Among these symptoms, I got several: insomnia (which is why I need these afternoon naps), dizziness, irritability, bloating and weight gain. Just the other day I told the hubby I think I need to have iron supplements because I’ve been experiencing dizzy spells and I don’t want to find myself blacked out somewhere out there. Yikes.

These are apparent when one is pregnant or having menopause. I’m not pregnant so does it mean…? Noooo!!!!

Afternoon Naps

It is supposed to be a non-toxic and relaxed summer vacation for me but no, I feel more tired with the children around. Matter of fact, I need afternoon naps now more than I need these during school days. Maybe its the heat or maybe its something else. I hope not.

And I have gained weight yet again because I can’t wake up early to exercise or hulahoop or dance.

Been doing some writing work for an online site on health but it seems I am the one in need of help when it comes to that area of wellbeing. Research had me land on pages like cirrhosis, Howard healthcare carts and measles. I’m learning new things of course but I think I need to walk the talk of espousing a good dose of fitness routine.

Oh, I just got up from an afternoon nap by the way and somehow I don’t feel refreshed. Sigh…

Going Green

Haven’t been well lately, there’s pain in one of my leg, especially when I’m tired. I think I need to do more physical activities besides clicking the mouse and clicking on computer keyboard.

So I’m prepping myself to do a green diet soon. And more walking, less internet time.

I’ve said that before and I’m saying it again but this time with conviction.

 

How to Fight the Bulge

Am smiling like crazy reading this article about the 4 Mistakes People Make in Fighting Ab Flab.

1. Parking in front of the TV. GUILTY! I love watching my favorite TV series in internet TV. Sometimes even if I have to read tons of articles like health conditions, diet pill reviews and the current fitness program for an online work, my attention is diverted to my favorite TV series or online movies.

2. Stressing out. GUILTY but am NOT GUILTY eating the munchies when I’m stressed. Really.

3. Diving into that bread basket. GUILTY depending on what kind of bread there is. Warm bread is pretty much a favorite and with cream cheese, I’m a happy camper.

4. Munching late at night. ME? I don’t think so. Oh, hubby, can you please not eat all those garlic peanuts and save some for me? 😀

Oops, were not having peanuts tonight, that was last night, we are having flaxseed crackers now. And two mugs of coffee shared between us. Argh!
