Restrooms in Restaurants Reviews

Last week, when my mother blogger friends and I had dinner at the Fish and Co. in TriNoma, we discussed about several people who review restaurants.

We might be turning into something like these people because of these once a month dinners we have been having the past few months.

Apparently, these people who do restaurant reviews do not just review the food that they eat.

They take photos of the food and rate these according to their own ratings and satisfaction scale. Food presentation, aroma, taste, eating utensils and cleanliness are just a few of the things they take notice of.

They even rate the interiors as well as the overall appearance of the restaurant, including the colors and the lighting.

The personnel are also scrutinized as well if they are good in public relations or lacking in it.

And I was quite surprised to learn that these people who review restaurants also rate the bathrooms/restrooms! Well, that probably should be on the list, if I may say so, since bathrooms/restrooms do not only provide relief but comfort as well.

Imagine washing your hands on a clean bathroom sink with Delta faucets, that would be a nice experience. I could probably recommend this to my brother-in-law who is an interior designer himself who has done some restaurants.

I Love Your Blog

I love your blog. Wow. Thank you Maiylah and Sasha for giving me this I Love Your Blog award.

iloveyourblog.jpg

Blogging has made me new friends. It has also made me connect with old friends.

I have virtually met Maiylah through Photo Hunters and I have admired her wonderful photos.

Sasha, well, we almost met during the iBlog3 conference last year. We have communicated through sms and she helped answer a lot of my questions about blogging.

This award coming from both is very special to me and here is why:

Both lady bloggers are a part of my small and intimate circle of blogging friends who answer my Weekly Questions which incidentally, our focus last week was about our Facial Regimen. It was fun reading about what they do before they go to sleep and what could probably be the best acne treatment we can have to be able to have smooth skin. As I have discovered through their answers, we have the same nightly rituals.

Stock or Modified?

We were supposed to go to a car show yesterday but the children didn’t want to leave the house anymore when to started to rain. So we just stayed home and each did his and her own thing. At least hubby changed my blogs’ themes. A lot of tweaking here and there but in the end, one both of these would have to be changed if one of my favorite plug ins won’t work fine.

The custom or modified question can refer to the themes since even if these were customized, still some modifications are needed to suit a blogger’s needs.

Or, this can mean cars. Yes, cars.

We have been to a lot of car shows. Not that we plan to buy a new car, no, that would have to be eons from now. Its just that getting near these cars gives us the “feel good” feeling.

Stock or modified?

Stock cars are cars and trucks that have not been changed in any way. It looks exactly like how to it looked when it got off the assembly line or production site. This term can also mean production based cars used for racing.

Here is an example of a stock car that I want (of course, this is by no means an ordinary stock car since it’s engine have been modified and is better than ordinary engines):

Custom cars or modified cars or tuner cars on the other hand, are those that have been changed according to the owner’s specifications, needs and style.

There are many ways to modify a car: paint, mag wheels, body art, airbrush designs, neon lights, door conversions, steering wheels, wide body kits plus a lot more!

Here is an example of a custom or modified or a tuner car:

So would you go for the stock car or the modified car?

The Laptop that Blogging Bought

I have written about the new camera that blogging bought in my other blog.

One of the first things that I got from the money I earned by writing reviews is to buy a laptop. Nothing fancy, it was not even new though it was barely used.

It was hubby’s decision to get this laptop rather than get a new one, which his former college classmate was selling because she was planning to get a newer and more compact one. He is my tech guru.

When I have free schedule at my workplace, I bring it with me so that I can use it to write blog posts, reports and I even use it with my students. It is also great for watching DVD 🙂

I even got a backpack for the laptop for easier handling. It is quite heavy though since we have to walk from my workplace to meet hubby in the parking space that we prefer before we go home. I haven’t been bringing this to work as of late because of the weather.

In the backpack I have other things that I use for the laptop. Charger, mouse, my Nokia pc suite cable, the kids music player, my smaller digicam and even sometimes the digicam’s usb cable, if I have to take pictures of my children or my students in action. I call these my “tools of the trade”. Whatever.

I am even thinking of getting an HDMI cable to use for the huge wall-mounted plasma tv in my work place. We can even use it at at home for other applications 😀

Subaru Impreza WRX STi or Mitsubishi Evolution X?

As I have written in a previous post, we just love going to car shows, ogling at new and old cars.

Not that we want to torture ourselves since we can’t afford these anyway, but still getting near these cars is a thrill in itself.

Back to my title, if I have a car like the Subaru Impreza WRX STi:

Or a car like the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X:
