Stark, our Belgian Mallinois dog

Stark

Have you met Stark yet? He is currently our pet. He is a Belgian Mallinois and in need of behavior modification. Hah, to say he needs the process is an understatement, he needs intense behavior modification techniques. He is chained here because the big gate is open and we can’t risk having him run outside.

He is too much energetic and has a predilection to biting a tree trunk when he is barking intensely. He loves anything that is on the floor. Anything.

For now, he loves running. He rarely walks. He gets exercise by running and by jumping in between the grills of the fence to bark at people walking on the street. I hope it will still be years before he is prescribed a carpaquin.

Finding Inspiration

For me, finding inspiration is not difficult to do. This is a matter of personal perspective of course but when we look around us and find beauty in the little things that do not seem to have any significance, we find inspiration.

September2014.IG

When my youngest child plays the guitar with her soulful interpretation of some songs, it brings tears to my eyes that she is able to do these things, taught herself to do these things, unaided by us. She “studies” musical pieces and even looks for hardware that can help her with her musical abilities (read more here for additional info)

Have Car, Will Travel

The hubby once went to his home province by taking a ship which traveled for two days. He took the ship going there and back because he brought along his motorcycle for him to tour different places.

Of course, he can’t just do something like click here for car shipping because the cars being shipped need to have a person with it to facilitate the documents, the transfer, etc.

Road Trip

Am glad we don’t need to ride in ships when we go visit my parents otherwise, I’d probably get seassick.

Fallen Leaves

Elsewhere halfway the world, snow is falling hard, making everything look like a winter wonderland. In our little corner of the earth, our “Winter tree” has started shedding and almost half the leaves are now gone. When all leaves are gone, it is Christmas time.

Fallen leaves. It's that time of the year... to clean the roof's downspouts :D

Makes it difficult telling the Manang that there’s no need for her cleaning services yet 😀

We Love our Toyota Car

We drive a Toyota sedan. The children call it “Black Car”. It is an old car but still running smoothly.

It has taken us to a lot of places and brought a lot of fun for everyone.

Day2: Wading in a River

As far as relationships go, this car and its driver (the man of the house) do not have a smooth as silk and perfectly harmonious relationship so the need to get parts for Toyota comes up once in a blue moon.

The car will probably stay with us for a long time.
