Going Green

Haven’t been well lately, there’s pain in one of my leg, especially when I’m tired. I think I need to do more physical activities besides clicking the mouse and clicking on computer keyboard.

So I’m prepping myself to do a green diet soon. And more walking, less internet time.

I’ve said that before and I’m saying it again but this time with conviction.

 

I Am Worried

I have been losing sleep over this super-typhoon called Megi, said to be one of the strongest ever to hit the country. And now I have more reasons to be so: my parents’ home in the province was badly hit, with the roof severely damage.

I want to go and visit them, the travel is not that long, we can go there in 4 hours or so, give and take. But then again, the budget I will have to spend traveling would be best spent given to them.

So now, I have to work harder to be able to contribute at least something to that sad state of the roof issue.

Out Walking

I still see the young-at-heart grandpas passing by our place every morning. Yep, it is their daily routine to do brisk walking, all four or five (sometimes six) of them. I wonder how they are able to do that daily, walking very fast while chatting and laughing. Maybe they take men vitamins or daily fitness regimen is good enough to make them alert and mobile despite their age.

Sometimes I wonder where they live. Sometimes I think of giving names to match their faces. Sometimes, I think about what they do after they take their walks.

If there is one thing I am certain of, is that I may hate to admit it but I think they can out-walk me anytime. Ouch.

Hula Hoops

I have been endlessly wanting to know how to get rid of belly fat the fun way. Ok, excuses, excuses.

I think I may have found what I’m looking for: hula hoops!

Hula hoop fitness routine seems easy to do though I know for clumsy me who can’t make a hula hoop stay on my waist, I would probably be having a hard time keeping it up and moving.

I found videos and read lit on how this hula hooping can make one lose weight and have fun at the same time.

I want to have a Hoopnotica video and “Find myself in the Hoop”!

Circuit Training

I admit, I am not familiar with the term Circuit Training. Circuit what?

From the little I understood about Circuit Training, this is a round of activities targeting weight loss, muscle build-up, and increasing resistance, without the aid of big bulky fitness equipments.

I am thinking of getting into a program one of these days and I already took the first step because I just signed up for a free tryout.

I hope I won’t get too chicken to try this 😀
