Zumba Wear

A few Saturdays ago, the hubby, the youngest child and I went to Divisoria in search for belly dancing butt hip scarf. I saw several and I got two: pink and purple. No, I am not into belly dancing (I wish!) but I just thought it would makea nice accent to the leggings and shirt I wear when I go to the Zumba classes I was enrolled in.

Looking at Zumba Wear though made me wonder if a hip scarf was appropriate since most of the Zumba dancers are wearing hip hop clothes.

So for the last session, we were asked to wear something nice so I decided to wear my purple hip scarf. Several of the women in my class wore something similar too, yey!I was not alone wearing those clinking golden coins 😉

Of course I hope I’d be able to wear the right clothes when I enroll again for the next round of sessions.

Not Impressive Enough

Do you have an “impressive” address where you can proudly display address plaques?

We don’t because the name of our place is a vernacular term for… never mind.

Yes, if it’s economically possible, we would have a different address by now, not because we don’t love the home but because we are not fond of the neighborhood. I’ve written about this a lot of times. If only we can bring the house if in case we have an opportunity to move, we’ll probably do so but that’s impossible of course.

Just the other day, the small retail or sari-sari store across us had been robbed: teenagers went in and got three mobile phones and a PSP. They were apparently staying under one of the trees near the water meter with a metal cage beside our home before they “attacked”. These teenagers are from the slum area a block or two away from us.

Scary isn’t it?

Yikes!

Conjugated linoleic acid is for weight loss? I’m not that knowledgeable with the different weight management fads and trends no matter how many times I’ve written about this topic because this is one of the things that I think a lot of aside from budget management, LOL.

If only thinking about the budget management makes me lose weight, then I would have been a skinny woman by now.

Speaking about budget management, the hubby once remarked that looking at the various online discount vouchers site I have accounts with will make an even poorer person than I already am. I don’t really buy a lot of these vouchers, only those that I know will make us contented.

As it is, I’ve heard that one or two of these local sites (glad I don’t have an account with these two, yey) have been having a lot of “oh no!” and facepalm reactions and not to mention angry customers.

Time like these, I wouldn’t want to be the company’s customer service rep. Yikes!

College Challenge

I’m happy for two of my former students who are college-bound. One is going to take up a course called MultiMedia while the other one is taking up something which currently slipped my feeble memory. Who would have thought several months ago, we were thinking of even getting online degree programs. There isn’t anything wrong with these online degree programs, in fact I even find these more convenient when it comes to no-commute through rush hour traffic part of learning.

But still, college is more fun with new found friends, newer and bigger challenges and more difficult school work.

Saving Time and Energy

An organized home saves you time and energy.

How?

  • A clutter-free living space makes get your things organized. You don’t need to sort through many things just to be able to find a coupon or a receipt needed for a transaction.
  • An organized home will make the homeowner feel efficient and cut down time spent doing actual work.
  • An organized home is more often than not a clean home where harmful substances do not lurk to pounce on unsuspecting prey.
  • Dust if you must.
  • Schedule a clean up day and get rid of junk.
  • Clean as you go, a way for multi-taskers to organize their homes. Instead of checking your Facebook account while the laundry is cleaning itself, why not dust here and there, wipe the kitchen counters or sweep the floor.

You’d feel relaxed in an organized home. Doesn’t it feel good if you go to bed or you go home from a hard day’s work with all clutter gone?

That includes the used dinner plates which are calling out my name at this instance, haha.
