Where Are the Children

Where are the children?

Bird Watching

Someone said she wants to have that binoculars soon. So I’m scouring the web if we will get a toy binocular or a real like ncstar or that one we saw that functions as a camera.

Why? Because the weather bureau said we are having a short and wet summer and she can’t go swimming and play golf in the backyard 😀

When I asked what she would like to see using a binoculars, she said “birds” from the trees beside the house.

Sorting The Trash

Do you reduce, reuse and recycle?

We do a bit of reduce, reuse and recycle. We have reduced our trash by not using canned food because it is not just a healthy option it helps reduce trash too.

We reuse plastic bottles by using these for water or fruit juices to bring to work or school. Disposable cups have been used in the garden too, as well as plastic spoons and forks from takeout food have been washed for future uses. Ice cream tubs are used for meats in the freezer, divided according to how these will be used. The big ones are used to knick-knacks too.

We recycle by way of tin cans, boxes, plastic and glass bottles, paper, plastic wrappers and even vegetable and fruit peelings. Gift, cereal and baking products boxes; bottles of perfume, lotion, (and maybe anti aging products in the future, lol), deodorants; toothpaste tubes, and so on and so forth… I put all these things in a different container for recycling, which our cleaning lady gets once or twice a week, depending on how much junk we accumulated.

Mag-Recycle

Bote. Dyaryo. Garapa.

Kayo, nagse-segregate ba kayo?

Early Morning Smog

I would have been delighted if whatever makes the trees look hazy is fog but alas, deep in my heart I know it’s not.

6:07 am.

And when it’s supposed to be clearer as the sun comes up and everything is warmer, the haze stayed on at 6:32am and it got even worse:

The son is back to waking up at the wee hours to reach out for the nebulizer near the bed.
