Opinion on Men in Gym Undershirt

My young students want to have a chiseled body ala-Roman gods. Yes, they even show me their “arm muscle” which seems an imaginary one 😀

Even my 8yo son wants to have arms muscle. I don’t know where he got that idea, hehe.

There is this young boy in his early teens  that I teach who says he thinks “muscled guys who wear those razorback undershirt” when not in the gym in order to show off their muscles (who seemed to use testosterone boosters that work well along with their rigid gym workouts) are not real men since real men do not have to do that to prove their “manliness”

Well, no comment 😉

Can’t Look at My Photos

Looking at the pics I have uploaded taken from last Friday’s post-Christmas celebration with mommy bloggers I can’t help but cringe when I see myself. I have grown immensely. Horizontally. Ugh!

I have been walking by this kiosk in the supermarket where I see boxes of nutritional supplements and weight loss capsules. I am very much tempted to get some adipex pills  for me.

I know I need to get back to my early morning rounds but my sprained ankle prevented me from picking up from where I left off. The holiday eating galore didn’t help either.

I seriously need to keep the weight off.

I feel sad going through this and I hope I won’t submit myself to opening that container with my bite size chocolate candy bars, 😀

Reading About Health Concerns

A week into the new year had me reading about healthy eating, fitness and healthy living. I am sure I am not the only one doing this whenever new year comes 😀

Following the death of our granduncle who had lung-related health issues and the passing away of a family friend’s mom due to kidney problems made me want to read on how to best deal with these. So far I have read about asthma and allergy treatments, about cough and colds treatments,  as well as eye-related issues.

I know we can not prevent certain health conditions from invading our system but it pays to know about some important health concerns.

I Need Fortitude

I have stopped doing my morning rounds for almost two weeks now due to some pain in my shin. Now I am feeling the ill-effects of not doing so: I gained weight. Sigh.

A friend was talking about some pills she took which will help in reducing the unwanted body fats. I am not sure if I am ready to have even the best diet pills yet.

I am starting again tomorrow, if not, the next day, LOL!

And I am also thinking about taking this challenge. Wish me not luck but fortitude.
