Oh My Gulay!

Woohoo!

Shopping for Summer

With just a few days left before the summer vacation officially starts, I am thinking of getting new clothes for the children that will help them combat the heat.

Sleeveless tops, short pants and swimming gear (as if) are on the top of my list. Throw in some colorful flip-flops, sun block and we can say that we are ready for summer.

But getting these things require me to have a budget that will be able to get everything we need to have pleasant summer days.

Hmmm… I do hope there will be a lot of sale happenings on these items in the nearby malls that will enable me to get these.

So now, I need to get my budget ready 🙂

Confessions of a Shopaholic

The book which I decided to read first before I watch (the still unwatched by me) chic flick, made me cringed several times because I was embarrassed for Becky, yes I truly am!

I wouldn’t have wanted to be in her position (except when her “fortune” was reversed of course) with all those bills piling up and yes, these would really happen NOT because of cheap credit card processing but because of lack of self-control and foresight and planning.

But then again, I can’t say I won’t be like her since I don’t have a credit card and if I do, I should really know how to take a rein with my money-less expenses. I have control over my expenses because I mostly pay in cash so I know when and when not to buy especially when there is nothing left in the wallet.

What about you?

Made in the Philippines

There are a lot of wondeful products made in the Philippines. One of these are bags made of indigenous materials that are locally available to the area where these are manufactured.

Makulay, may karakter at magaganda. Colorful, has lots of certain endearing characteristics and wonderful designs. Do you have at least one that is Philippine made?

If you have bags like these, you do not just help in the livelihood programs of your fellow Filipinos, you also show that you are proud of things that are made in the Philippines 🙂

Do You Love Your Job?

I have written a post about “loving your job” and in it I also wrote that:

Love your job. Live with the inconveniences that goes with it for who knows, you might even  consider yourself more fortunate than those who have none.

The Weekly Question will focus on this topic about our paying jobs, be these former jobs or current ones.

Do you love your job?
