Do You Love Your Job?

I have written a post about “loving your job” and in it I also wrote that:

Love your job. Live with the inconveniences that goes with it for who knows, you might even  consider yourself more fortunate than those who have none.

The Weekly Question will focus on this topic about our paying jobs, be these former jobs or current ones.

Do you love your job?

Calamansi Flower

Napakarami kong larawan ng mga magagandang bulaklak. I have many photos of beautiful flowers.

Pero napili kong ilagay ay bulaklak sa ibaba para sa aking Litratong Pinoy entry. But I chose the photo below as my Litratong Pinoy entry:

Calamansi flower

Simple, puti, maliit. SUbalit sa loob nito ay isang maliit na bunga na magiging source ng maasim at masustansiyang juice na hitik sa bitamina. Simple, white and small but inside is a small sour fruit that would be  a rich source of vitamin c.

Bakit nga ba ito ang pinili ko? Kasi na-excite ako sa mga maliliit na bulaklak ito sa aming maliit na hardin ng mga pu-puwedeng kainin o ilagay sa pagkain pagdating ng araw 😀

Are Your Ready for Summer?

Are you ready for summer? The weather station said in the news yesterday that summer has officially started.

Now I am panicking because I should have started slimming down when the new year just started  😀

Now that I am about to do a drastic change in my work schedule, maybe I should try doing some fitness routines since I am going to have more time on my hands. Like mopping the floor while I’m dancing. Or doing stretching while I dust the library shelves.

Maybe I need to increase my intake of raw food like vegetables and fruit and stop the habit of driking soda and eating chocolates for dessert. Noooo!

Maybe I should think about Ephedrasil hardcore as an option.

Or maybe, I’ll skip summer and just bum in the house. Of course NOT. 😀

View From the Sidewalk

We went biking and walking Sunday morning at a nearby sprawling campus. It was a bit late when we started and I must say the weather is getting a bit warm these days.

The younger children and hubby rode on their bike and I walked.

I got interested in taking a photo of one of the colleges, the one near where we were staying under a shade.  I saw a man with a tripod who was taking photos of the building so I took a photo too 😀

My photo of the CoE building as viewed from the sidewalk.

Gangs in the Neighborhood

A block from where we live is a community of shanties where probably several hundreds of families live. I am concerned for our own safety when the young male people roam the streets at night. When they pass by our home, they talk heckle, laugh, shout like they have the right to do so, even if its late at night. They hurl stones at a neighbor’s mango tree teeming with green mangoes. They are unpredictable and I probably do not have to say I know why.

With the recent UP Fair fiasco where a lot of jumping jologs violently disrupted what could have been a fun concert, we wonder what is happening to these youth who are supposed to be the hope of the nation?

Sure, I always say, we should have heart to understand those who are considered as “underprivileged” or those who have “less” but if they behave like savages and do things that harm innocent people and destroy properties that are not theirs? I do not know why they are angst-ridden and their rage seem monumental
