Adidas miCoach Pacer will be available in the Philippines this March 2010 in Adidas Stores for PHP 6,995.00

It is no secret that I have an on again and off again love affair with hitting the pavement and I think this is way more fun and healthier than getting life insurance plans. You know, just in case 😀

There is no more school so I have no excuse to not get up (without stressing myself cooking packed lunch very early) and start the routine once again. Yup, tomorrow, definitely, I hope 😉

We Saw Saturn at Seven Suites Hotel Observatory

Momblogger friends and I were invited to the Noite de Carnival celebration at Seven Suites Hotel Observatory last Saturday.

Seven Suites Hotel Observatory

We were able to see the different rooms, sample the food and discover the nooks and crannies of the place. This would be a wonderful place for hubby’s project management software seminar.

My son still talks about his awesome experience of seeing Saturn through the big telescope at Seven Suites Hotel Observatory. There is one  big telescope there but that night there were three more smaller ones that we peered through to see Saturn and the moon ‘s craters.

Seven Suites Hotel Observatory is located at Hollywood Hills Subd, Sumulong Highway, Antipolo City, Philippines. (02) 217-5443 / 4906407 / 6820330 / 6822076

Third Party Apps in Facebook

Annoyed with those third party apps in Facebook? Yes, these are your friends’ game scores, newly acquired farm necessities, flowers, gifts, pillows, relatives, calendars, pokes and a list so long I could not possibly name a tenth of.

Oh, here is a page that lists down these third party apps in Facebook.

Ok, I admit, I used to take quizzes and take on challenges but I rarely publish my results. There.

Anyway…

Built to work with existing operating systems third party applications are programs made by or written by people who are not the provider of the operating system.

When I see one appearing on my time line, I click HIDE. I don’t want a cluttered timeline. I am more interested in updates than in scores, thank you very much.

I have also written before that contacts who will tag me with products they are selling would be “marked” and be warned. Not even neutrogena skin id reviews and a free tube will make me change my mind about not hiding these updates.

Are you getting annoyed with these third party apps in Facebook? What are these apps that get in your nerves?

Mahusay Nga Ba ang Pinoy?

litratongpinoy

Ang Pinoy ay mahusay, walang kaduda-duda dun.

Heto nga o, bag na gawa sa newspaper. Ganda no?

Some Energy Saving Tips for Summer

Summer is here but I am not exactly looking forward to spending the day sweltering in heat and wishing for the night to come.

Even if I don’t get to wake up at an ungodly hour to prepare for food to be brought to school, I do not exactly welcome summer. AND summer means droves of noisy children playing on the street. Sigh.

Well at least we don’t have to turn on the light fixtures early so we get to save energy.

The things that help us feel cool however is another concern and these are the things that make power consumption go up several notches which ruin the energy conservation scheme 🙁

How can households practice energy conservation during summer? Here are some helpful tips:

  • Try to open windows, especially those that do not have direct sunlight, to have the breeze enter your home.
  • Wear light clothes that will not make you sweat.
  • If you have to do house chores using electrical appliances, do it while the temperature is cooler.
  • Air dry the clothes you washed.
  • Check your air-conditioning unit to see if the filters are clean.

Do not forget to drink lots of water and wear clothes made of light materials 🙂
