iPad

I am not one who go goo-goo and gaga over tech gadgets and tech toys not because (mainly) I don’t have the budget for these things but because I know that whatever is news today would be old news after a few days.

Like this iPad which is NOT mine:

iPad

Looks pretty neat huh?

So I take back what I wrote about not going gaga over tech gadgets because shhh… I want one like this because of the features.

It would be great to be able to access a lot of things like my mail, my photos, YouTube, iTunes, maps, iBooks and so much more.

Now my mom wouldn’t get mad at me if I don’t find the joint health supplements page she needs to read pronto because  I know if I have one like this, I wouldn’t put it down 😀

Adidas miCoach Pacer will be available in the Philippines this March 2010 in Adidas Stores for PHP 6,995.00

It is no secret that I have an on again and off again love affair with hitting the pavement and I think this is way more fun and healthier than getting life insurance plans. You know, just in case 😀

There is no more school so I have no excuse to not get up (without stressing myself cooking packed lunch very early) and start the routine once again. Yup, tomorrow, definitely, I hope 😉

We Love Book Sale

The bookstore is one of the many places we love to go to especially when there is a book sale going on.

We got some new books during the summer sale at a nearby bookstore the other day. I got a Jonathan Kellerman (Php99.00 or a little more than $2) book while the kids got an Enid Blyton book (PhP50.00 or a little more than $1) with several stories inside including The Little White Rabbit.

Several office supplies for the eldest daughter were also purchased since she needs these for her school projects which are due for submission this week. She already did her Math portfolio and needs to complete two more projects for her clearance.

In a few weeks time, we would start purchasing school supplies again for the next school year. School year begins on the first week of June. For now the kids will enjoy two months of vacation bliss.

Shabby Chic

I used to watch a Shabby Chic show back when we still had cable tv.

I don’t know why but I think I like the look of shabby chic furniture more than modern furniture though the latter would be more practical to have of course.

When we went malling last weekend, one table sort of beckoned me to look at “her” from inside a furniture store. Yes, it is a shabby chic find definitely but there was nothing shabby with the tag price attached to it (PhP85,000!).

One day, I told myself, I will get a small house and have it decorated like ala-French cottage with shabby chic theme. Maybe I can start with the house soon 🙂

Makukulay na Balabal

litratongpinoy

Ikaw?
