Television commercials are bound to catch the attention of the target market. Most of the time these are quirky, funny and have jingles that will continually play in one’s mind again and again. Just like an LSS. These however, abound in free TV.

There are those that do not specifically target the audience they are supposed to. Some seem rude or not age-appropriate or even give misinformation or exaggeration (huh? Did anyone just say extenze?) It is no wonder some countries have their citizens pay for Television Licence to be able broadcast without commercials.

I am sure this concept will not be received well in our country if this is implemented since free TV is one of the major sources of entertainment for most households. Plus, a lot of stations will be affected by this policy, especially those who get hefty salaries.

Skin Care and TV Ads

There is this television commercial (tvc) of three popular TV personalities who used to be together in a now-defunct show about fashion, lifestyle and almost everything that screams “buy me!”

This tvc was about looking the same or maybe even younger than they were six years ago. If I were different, maybe I would believe these ladies but knowing how much photoshop can be done to make things look better different, I may not be one of those who bought that product which I guess based its presentation on hydrolyze reviews.

Either the product really works or I am just a skeptic, I wouldn’t know unless I try it myself. Which I would probably not because I would rather do this.

Coco Jam and Peanut Butter

Matagal-tagal ko ding hinanap ito kaya laking tuwa ko nung matagpuan ko at matikmang muli: coco jam. Sa totoo lang, noong ako ay batang paslit, ayoko nito kasi mabaho, lalo na yung kending makunat na nakabalot sa puting papel, Yuck talaga! Amoy langis ng niyog.

Sige na nga, heto na ang paboritong almusal namin: tinapay na may manipis na palamang coco jam at/o peanut butter. Kelangan yung me buo-buong mani at mamantikang peanut butter ha (argh!)

Bakit nga ba manipis? Kasi matamis ang coco jam at dapat manipis lang para di magsawa agad.

Siyempre di pwedeng walang kape.

Ayan, kumpleto na ang araw naming mag-asawa 🙂  Tsalap!

Coco jam, peanut butter and wheat bread are all from Pan de Manila. No, this is not a paid ad though a big white paper bag full of pandesal is very much welcome, lol.

Looking for Balloons and Other Party Needs

I have been thinking about starting a balloons business with my mom since she has already clients in the province who orders balloons, birthday cakes, invitations and party needs from her.

Of course I wouldn’t want to tire myself while I traverse the roads going to Divisoria yet, where everything is being sold in retail prices, so I got to turn to online Classified Ads to see what it has on these party needs that I may write on my list when I have the resources and time in place.

And because I am excited, I decided to dream on when I saw this:
